Drs. Ronald Schut,
Chief Executive Officer

Ronald Schut obtained his degree in Physics at the University of Amsterdam. As management consultant and program/interim manager he was involved in a variety of projects on rganizational and IT subjects for national and international companies in several industry sectors as well as government. Since 1995 he is managing director of several spin-off companies and business developer under the UvA Holding B.V. These companies aim to market research products and knowledge to industry and government.

Prof. Dr. Gadi Rothenberg,
Chief Scientific Officer

Gadi Rothenberg heads the heterogeneous catalysis and sustainable chemistry group at the University of Amsterdam. He has published over 100 papers and several patents, and discovered two new catalysts, for which he received the Marie Curie Excellence Award in 2004 and the Paul Rylander Award in 2006. His textbook â Catalysis: Concepts and Green Applicationâ is considered the best introduction to catalysis and used worldwide. Prof. Rothenberg is co-founder of the companies Sorbisense and Yellow Diesel. He is married, owns no car, and has a black belt in Shaolin Kung-Fu.

Dr. Alexandre C. Dimian,
Technical manager

Alexandre Dimian is a worldwide known expert in conceptual process design. He has worked for twelve years as a process consultant for the French petroleum and since 1993 is Professor for Process Integration at the University of Amsterdam. Dr Dimian has published over 100 scientific papers and three patents, as well as two important textbooks: Integrated Design and Simulation of Chemical Processes (Elsevier, 2003) and Chemical Process Design, Case studies (Wiley-VCH, 2008).
