Follwing the feasibility study, we perform a preliminary plant design based on the alternative selected by the client. The deliverable is a process design report, that includes the following sections:
- A detailed process flow diagram (PFD),
- Detailed material and energy balances of streams and around units,
- An environmental material balance,
- Material safety sheets,
- Main equipment selection and sizing,
- Key aspects of process control implementation.
- An economic analysis consisting of a preliminary cost estimation of the total capital investment (inside battery limits) and operation costs.

This preliminary process design and cost estimation can be consolidated in a detailed plant design and construction project by a specialised engineering/contractor company.
